Architecture and textiles meet in this innovative collaboration between Zinc Textile and Antwerp-based studio Dieter Vander Velpen Architects, translating the rhythm of natural materials into fabrics that feel both sculptural and expressive. Inspired by marble veining, travertine layers, grained wood and carved forms, the collection plays with surface and structure through tactile velvets and jacquards that balance matt against shine. Rather than chasing perfect coordination, the focus is on pieces that stand confidently on their own and work together because each element matters. A standout is Guilin, a showstopping velvet with undulating pattern and contrasting yarns that create depth and a sense of movement, while Brera brings an artistic edge as an expressive printed cotton velvet that captures pigment-rich brushstrokes in layered, chaotic mark-making. For a more tapestry-like mood, Sweets evokes a timeworn needlepoint carpet with vivid yarns and a colour-shifting quality that changes with every angle, all finished with subtle nods to Zincs signature glam
