Pierre Frey Memoires Colorees Fabrics
Memoires Colorees by Pierre Frey is a vibrant and deeply personal collection born from the friendship between Patrick Frey and artist Isabelle de Borchgrave. Where the poetry of paper meets exceptional materials, the designs celebrate colour, texture, and cultural exchange. Each fabric reflects Isabelle de Borchgraves fascination with world traditions and her ability to transform paper into living, tactile art. Within the collection, Casa draws inspiration from the mashrabiya, interpreting its filtered light and architectural rhythm in a thick, double-sided cotton jacquard ideal for seating. More graphic in expression, Color Patch translates the artists iconic pleating technique into a jacquard of subtle nuance and deep colour. Completing the trio, Dana adapts a paper kaftan into soft linen, where repeated oval motifs evoke ancestral Central Asian weaves. Memoires Colorees is a celebration of artistic freedom, craftsmanship, and emotional storytelling through fabric.
