Casamance Nouvel Angle Fabrics
Nouvel Angle takes an innovative look at materials and pattern, drawing on modernisms clean lines, balanced shapes and spirit of invention to create seating fabrics with strong visual identity. Satiny surfaces subtly catch the light, while matte and structured textures provide contrast, building a collection that feels luxurious, architectural and decisively contemporary. The patterns are disciplined yet expressive, relying on rhythm and proportion rather than ornament, making them ideal for interiors that value clarity and modern elegance. At the centre, Nouvel Angle reinvents the chequerboard through a regular grid of horizontal and vertical lines, woven in a linen, cotton and polyester blend to give structure and a refined, natural character. For a more complex geometric dialogue, Plan Libre interlocks shapes across the surface using alternating yarn gauges and a contemporary matte finish, inspired by Le Corbusiers concept of plan libre, where strict organisation meets spatial freedom. Together these designs express Nouvel Angles modernist intent, offering seating textiles that feel considered, graphic and elevated, with material contrast and proportion doing the work of decoration.
