Echoing the beauty of ceramics, this collection explores textures with a focus on movement, touch, and craftsmanship. Iridescent inks illuminate the designs, transforming simplicity into luxury. Faenza, an Italian artistic hub famed for its ceramics, has witnessed the influence of great artists like Picasso, Matisse, and Chagall. The term "faience", reflecting glazed or sometimes varnished clay, has its roots in this legendary city's name. Faenza offers a modern take on zelliges, capturing the essence of these ancient tiles in their varied and imperfect tones and forms. The eight available colors span from natural to rich tones, all graced with a lustrous sheen. Nérikomi, poetically termed "mixed earth", showcases a blend of two differently hued clays. Although it shares the worn facade of "Zumaia", Nérikomi is distinguished by its graceful metallic gleams. Achieved by surface scraping, this glow comes in four profound shades, offering silver, gold, or copper reflections. Scandium, inspired by the unique metal, is crafted with a pioneering technique. Utilizing a Mylar base, a metallic polyester coating is set upon vinyl, printed, and then textured to add depth, culminating in a genuine and opulent metallic appearance where the grain prominently integrates with the print.
