Originally sketched and coloured for wallpaper, Lent Lily has been thoughtfully refined by the Morris & Co. design team. Bold, stylised floral motifs of pointed tulips contrast with the swirls of the iconic acanthus leaf. The name Lent Lily refers to the miniature wild daffodils nestled into the ground of this lovingly adapted design. Taken from a rarely seen watercolour artwork in the archive, the design retains the original hand-drawn movement through a considered approach to the printing process. Translated into a beautiful embroidery design using a range of stitching techniques, Lent Lily highlights the finished and unfinished aspects of the original design, celebrating artistry and technique in equal measure. Two-tone and solid yarns create movement in this embroidery, adding interest through varied yarns for an artisanal finish. Orders are despatched and confirmed via email with tracking number and delivered by UPS.

UPS now has a UPS My Choice option to reschedule or collect from many UPS pick-up points.

All bespoke items carry a longer lead time and you will often be quoted an estimated delivery date prior to placing the order.

If there are any issues with meeting the standard delivery time frame, you will be contacted.

Fabric Returns Policy

Each fabric order is bespoke, as the fabric has been specifically cut to your requirements. For this reason we cannot accept cancellations, refunds, or direct exchanges.

We can, however, request that the fabric companies accept your order back into stock and negotiate a refund. This is subject to their agreement and payment of their handling charges. Please contact us if you have ordered the wrong product or changed your mind.

Fabric companies typically impose a restocking/handling fee of around 30% of the order value. This would be deducted from your refund.

Returns are not usually possible if the fabric length is less than 5 metres.

To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging.

All return postage costs are the buyer’s responsibility. We recommend using a professional courier.

Faulty Items

If an item is faulty, a full replacement or refund can be offered up to 30 days for faulty or damaged goods at no extra cost. Please notify us within a few days of receipt. A replacement or refund will be processed as quickly as possible.

Is available for this product, however we do not hold stock of samples and rely on our suppliers having stock of the samples to supply to us. If you wish to receive a cutting of this product please use the order sample button and follow the check out procedure.

Fabric sample sizes can vary but are generally approx 10cms x 10cms square. Wallpaper samples can be anything from approx A6 to A4 size.
